Our Story
SPEEDX AUTO was founded in 2021 in Richmond, BC, with a simple observation: Turo hosts were losing money to third-party mechanics, slow turnarounds, and operational overhead. We built the opposite — a fully integrated Turo operation with a mechanical and body shop out back.
Since 2021, the operation has grown to 100+ vehicles under management and more than 5,000 trips shown on our public Turo profile. Our location near Vancouver International Airport supports scheduled fleet handoffs, while the Richmond shop handles appropriate inspection and repair work.
Most of the cars in our fleet belong to other owners who trust us to manage them. That trust is everything. We built this business to make car ownership profitable again — for snowbirds, investors, retiring hosts, and anyone with an idle vehicle.
