When to book an inspection

  • •Battery or drive-system alerts on the screen, or alerts that return after a restart
  • •Range or power that drops for no clear reason
  • •Whining, grinding, or clunking from the drive unit when accelerating or slowing
  • •Brake noise, suspension clunks, or tires wearing quickly

What we inspect

  • •Fault codes and alert history
  • •High-voltage battery condition
  • •Drive motor noise, leaks, and mounts
  • •Brakes, calipers, suspension, and tires

Safety and diagnosis

Never open or work on high-voltage parts yourself; orange cables carry dangerous voltage. If the car warns of a battery fault, smokes, or smells of burning, park away from buildings, get everyone out, and call 911.

What happens next

  • 01Send the model, year, mileage, and a photo of any alert on the screen
  • 02Book a time and bring the car to the Richmond shop
  • 03Review the diagnosis, options, and quote before approving work

Frequently asked questions

Can you repair a Tesla?

Yes. Tesla is most of our EV work: high-voltage battery checks, drive motor repair, fault-code diagnosis, plus brakes, suspension, tires, and maintenance.

Can you check my Tesla's high-voltage battery?

Yes. We check the battery's condition and any related fault codes, then explain what we found and your options before any repair.

Do electric cars still need maintenance?

Yes. Tires, brakes, cabin filters, the A/C system, and the 12-volt battery all need attention. Regenerative braking means the pads work less, so calipers can seize or corrode in a wet climate like Vancouver's. Follow the schedule in your owner's manual.

How much does Tesla repair cost?

Labor is $120 per hour times the labor-guide time, plus parts, and you get the quote before work starts. Tire changes start at $25 per tire and A/C recharges are $150 or $230.

Do you work on other EV brands?

Sometimes. Send the make, model, and the problem first and we will confirm whether we can take the job.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Book by WhatsApp, phone, or WeChat.
